The itinerary takes you to Asolo, passing through art, architecture and wine. The city of a hundred horizons will charm you as it did with poets, artists and celebrities.

From our hotel Do Ciacole in Relais you will reach the most distant point, Possagno, in a hour. Along the way you will be able to admire the Brion tomb in San Vito di Altivole, designed by Carlo Scarpa.

From here you can reach Asolo.

Giosuè Carducci defined it as the city of a hundred horizons. He was totally fascinated by this city, as well as Eleonora Duse, Freya Stark, Robert Browning, Igor Strawinsky and many others were. Even the Queen of Cyprus, Caterina Cornaro, in 1489 fell in love with this city, she settled in the castle and had a villa built for her. Thanks to the Queen Cornaro and her will to bring artists and poets to her court, the city boasts of a huge cultural mark.

Every second Sunday of the month there is also the antiques market along the streets of the center.

To the north we also find Possagno and the Canova Museum where there are the original plaster casts in the Gypsotheca (with an extension made by Carlo Scarpa), the birthplace house of the artist and the Canova Temple designed by Canova himself as a village church, a few meters from his house.

The hills that enclose Asolo and the surrounding area have a wine vocation, here is where Asolo Prosecco is produced.

Going back to the hotel, we suggest a tour in Ferrowine (Castelfranco Veneto), a beautiful and well-stocked wine shop built like a library, where bottles of wine replace books.
