The Northern Marca region (Treviso) is best known for its wine production. In the land of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene the lush vineyards of the famous Prosecco are cultivated. The beautiful landscape offered by this land invites you to embark on a journey along the Wine Roads, savoring good wine and admiring the beauties of the territory.

The new Prosecco and Wine Route of the Hills of Conegliano Valdobbiadene starts from Conegliano, follows the path of the hills and reaches Valdobbiadene. The journey begins from the Wine School of Conegliano, to discover the origins of sparkling wine science. The school is equipped with a farm with cellar (where you can buy bottles), distillery, educational farm and orchard. Stop to admire the view of the rolling hills of Conegliano.

Then descend towards Refrontolo, among woods and vineyards you will meet the Molinetto della Croda, a centenary jewel set in the rock. The hills will become taller and steeper as you approach Farra di Soligo where two medieval towers stand out on the embroidered landscape of vineyards: they are the towers of Credazzo, a memory of the Lombards.

In the nearby Col San Martino, another fascinating example of local architecture is the small church of San Vigilio, which we recommend to reach with a walk through the vineyards. Follow the hills, from the characteristic cone shape, to Colbertaldo, where you will begin to climb to reach the qualitative summit of the denomination: the Cartizze, where one of the most beautiful wine landscapes in Italy will open up.

Also in the area you will find the Osteria senza oste ("inn without innkeeper" could be a translation), a farmhouse where you can find local products, such as wines, cheeses and cold cuts in a beautiful scenery. The only thing that is missing is, in fact, the innkeeper to serve you. The Prosecco Road itinerary ends in Valdobbiadene, the capital of DOCG production and home to many sparkling houses.
